The best kept secret in the sexy lingerie and exotic shop, Miss Behav’N came in the form of seductive DONATO - a 6 ft, 195 lbs, dirty blonde hair firefighter, runway model, actor and poet. I watched with excitement as he modelled barechested and clad only in a skin tight leather pants and harness. Every move that he made oozed with sex appeal. So not surprising when one of his ardent fans, sauntered over to me and whispered that Donato’s French accented voice was enough to bring on an orgasm, I knew I had a hit on my hands.

Two weeks later, Donato and I sat down in my office for this interview.

“Donato, tell me about yourself and your work”.

“I am Canadian with French, Italian and Iroquois heritage. I was originally from Montreal. Since I was a little boy, I had always wanted to be a firefighter. I worshipped superheroes and would imitate them by wearing a bath towel around my neck and wore a 50 cents mask. I would let my imagination fly by pretending to rescue those in danger and need. I really like to take care of others. When I was in school, I had entertained the idea of being a professional basketball player and got a basketball scholarship to attend college in Providence, Rhodes Island (U.S.). I didn’t become a pro basketball player, instead decided to stick with my original dream of being a firefighter. I became a volunteer firefighter before coming to Toronto to work full time as one. I’ve been a firefighter for six years now and still loving it.

“That’s so cute, pretending to be a superhero,” I said with a chuckle. “Seriously, many people regard firefighters as heroes, since your work is dangerous. Tell me what were the most unforgettable incidents that you had encountered in your field?”

Donato looked at me and said as a matter-of-fact. “Well, there were three unforgettable incidents. The first happened on one Christmas Eve when I was fighting a fire on a burning roof without my breathing apparatus. When I opened the roof to let out the gas, the fire spread and I was immediately surrounded by fire and thick smoke. I couldn’t even see my hands, couldn’t breathe, and couldn’t find my way down. I was trapped! The fire intensified. My life flashed past me and I thought, “This is it!” Thank God, my colleague found me and took me to the side of the roof to have some air. As soon as we felt better, we continued fighting the fire.”

I was holding my breath all the while listening to Donato’s hallowing experience. I took a deep breath and said, “Thank God, you could have been burnt to death.”

Donato nodded. “The second incident was a big factory fire. Everyone in the building had ran out except a little puppy that was trapped inside. My Captain and I rushed into the factory and there was thick smoke everywhere. We searched every floor and every room for quite some minutes before we found the puppy in a room, with a closed window and fire was everywhere. The puppy was terrified and didn’t want us to touch it. I removed my mask and the puppy relaxed a little. I held it in my arms and gave it oxygen. My Captain and I rushed out of the factory with the puppy. As soon as we emerged, the crowd of about fifty by-standers, cops, firemen and factory workers applauded and cheered. It was an awesome feeling!”

I gasped. “My goodness, that was very brave of you and the Captain. Do you know that my heart nearly stopped when you described the two incidents? I believe your family must be worried sick about your safety.”

Donato smiled. “My family are naturally worried but they know that I do take care of myself. I love animals and couldn't bear the thought of a helpless puppy being burnt to death. Interested to hear more?”

I nodded. “You bet. This is fodder for my romance and erotic stories. Do you know that many female readers love to read about firemen?”

“Really? That’s good to know. I don’t mind being a fantasy for your readers,” Donato chuckled. “I revived a woman whose heart and breathing had stopped. For weeks, I had people in the community came to the firehall to thank me for saving the woman’s life.”

“I’m not surprised that these people regard you as their hero, especially women. What you have told me would make women sigh with love. Do you regard yourself as romantic?”

Donato gave me a flirtatious look and said huskily. “Yes, I am romantic, very passionate and LOVE WOMEN (all types). See the colors that I am wearing - red, yellow and orange? These colors speak of passion, hot and sensual. I love art, especially painting depicting about love and anything that is beautiful, especially flowers.”

“Hmm...how would you make it a romantic night for you and your lady love?”

“I will take her to a bar that plays soft romantic music. After our cocktail, I will take her home and make her a delicious dinner. To set the romantic mood, I will have lots of flowers, like roses and place lots of candles everywhere, put on romantic music like Sade, Seal and George Michael. After dinner, we will slow dance. If our date was in winter, we will proceed to sit before the fireplace and I will shower her with caresses, soft kisses, and smelling her skin. I want to touch and explore her body. For desert, I will feed her chocolate with whip cream and strawberry. And if she likes, we will proceed to the whirlpool, relax and kiss some more. Since I give good massages, I will massage her till she purrs like a contented kitten. I’m a gentle person, never like rough lovemaking so there’s lots of cuddling and stroking. Then as our passion rises, I will speed up the rhythm and make hot passionate love to her. “It came by accident. A representative for a fashion show came to the firehall and told us that he was looking for good looking firemen to do a runway show. I was asked to audition. I was thrilled and excited that I got picked to do the show. I simply loved the runway show, the audience screamed as soon as other firefighters and I came on stage. It was amazing that people were all over me, and many told me that I should model full time. Since I loved fashion, I decided to sign on with a modelling agency. I was sent to audition for Tommy Hilfiger, went for the fitting, they liked me and was sent to Montreal for the fashion show. Then I was sent to New York to model many times. I was dazzled, it was like a dream - one day I was fighting fire and nearly lost my life, the next I was treated like a celebrity, driven to shoots in stretch limousines, drinking Dom Perignom with gorgeous female models and meeting interesting people.”

Donato opened up a big calendar and pointed at the picture. “That’s me, up in the air on a cable. I was picked to pose for September in the Toronto Firefighter Calendar. The reception for the calendar from the public was fabulous! I was absolutely surprised that thousands of women lined up in the snow outside the Bay shopping mall for the firefighters’ autograph signing. I had women screaming for my attention, kissing and hugging me, they just wanted to touch me. It was simply wild and fun! I felt like a superstar. It is wonderful that the modelling gigs keep coming - I model for Miss Behav’N on the Saturdays that I am available and now this, being asked to be Fantasy hunk for August."

"I'm thrilled that you agree to be a Fantasy hunk. What about movies?"

"Last summer, I played Mariah Carey’s entourage in her movie, “All that Glitters”. It’s going to be out in the theatre soon. Mariah’s feather boa caught fire on the set. She was totally unaware of it and I quickly took it away from her and stomped the fire out. My hands were slightly burnt but I was fine. The producer thanked me repeatedly for saving Mariah from being burned. It would have been disaster for her career if she was. He asked me to be her fire safety technician when she came back to town for her next movie. You know, that meant a lot to me. So far, life for me has been sweet and I'm working hard to achieve my success.”

I sighed with delight. “Oh yes, I can see your star is rising. Your family must be so proud of you and your accomplishment. Do you have a good relationships with them?”

“Yes, we are very close, we take care of each other and they are the best. My father is a great influence to me. He wanted my brothers and I to be tough and so started us off with boxing and later other athletic activities. My brother and I got a blackbelt in karate. I was also a karate instructor.”

"What other sports do you like to do?”

“I’m a thrill-seeker. I love parachuting, scuba-diving, rollerblading, soccer, cross-training and exercising at the gym.”

“Anything else exciting coming up for you?”

“I’ve just finished shooting the Gatorade commercial and next weekend, I will be shooting for the Leather Bound commercial which will be shown nationwide.”
