Winner of the Brazen Heroine’s “Sexy Adonis 2002” award
For the entire year, I have searched high and low for the perfect Fantasy hunk for Christmas. When Fantasy hunk,
Sylvester Bowden highly recommended Greg Scott Miller, I couldn’t resist checking him out. We emailed and chatted.
Sylvester was right, Greg was wonderful, smart and sexy. His smile alone is enough to melt a woman’s heart. He is indeed the
perfect Christmas gift for my beloved readers and fans. I am proud to introduce him to you all. He is also the very first “Brazen
Heroine’s Sexy Adonis 2002” award winner. Congratulations Greg!

Doreen: “Greg, tell us where you grew up and what you wanted to be.”
Greg: “I was born in California and moved to Kirkland, Washington when I was in junior high
school and have lived in and around the Seattle area the rest of my life. When I was growing up,
I wanted to play baseball professionally, and since very few fellows ever realize this dream, I
didn't either. I've enjoyed playing all sports but baseball was my first love and has remained
so during my now adult years.”
Doreen: “Were you a bookworm in school?”
Greg: “"Bookworm"-no way! I guess you could say I read a few books that were required during
school but with two brothers and the push for athletics in school, this became the driving force
in my life.”
Doreen: “When did you start modeling? How were you discovered?”
Greg: “I started modeling only last year. It's taken me a year to get prepared, physically
and mentally for the rigors of it. Even though I started late, I'm really enjoying the challenges
now. A fellow that I traveled with across the country two years ago pushed me into it screaming
and kicking all the way. He felt I had the ability and has helped me find my way.”
Doreen: “Tell us some of your exciting modeling assignments, especially your fitness ones. Were
you nervous at your very first modeling gig?”
Greg: “I've been fortunate to have two rather diverse fitness assignments: one in California
and then the other locally. The one in California was in the dessert close to Costa Mesa and took
two days of hard work. We started in the early morning, with shots done inside and numerous clothing
changes. We only finished after sun down. I was exhausted for a week. I had approximately 1,000
shots taken just so 12 to 15 of the lot really good and appropriate for the magazine. The other
took place in Seattle and was for AT&T Broadband. There was also an advertisement for cosmetic
surgery for ladies where I was running with my shirt off and they were watching. It was a lot
of fun doing that 13-second spot. I'm never nervous once I get in front of the camera; seems
like this is where I should be and what I should be doing, so it's enjoyable and really a lot
of fun.”
Doreen: “Too bad I was ill and couldn’t attend the Romantic Times convention, I would have
loved to dance with you. How did you come to know about the Mr. Romance competition? Did you
enjoy yourself at the convention? Tell us about your experience there.”
Greg:"The same fellow who encouraged to go into modelling heard about the competition through one
of his colleague and he passed the information along to me. And yes, I really enjoyed the event. Although
it was a lot of work with all the rehearsals and the competition events, it was also a lot of fun
meeting and talking with some extremely nice ladies. It's been a long time since I've danced so much with
so many beautiful women.
Doreen: “Besides working out at the gym, what other sports do you like doing? And why?”
Greg: “In addition to playing baseball on some of the local teams, I also play golf whenever
I have the money and time. I used to really enjoy playing baseball and football but I hurt my
right leg several years back and had to have surgery. Since then, I've backed off anything that
is that rough and tumble.”
Doreen: “That’s too bad about your injury. Have you done any acting? If so, what are the
types of role you are looking for?”
Greg: “I haven't had the opportunity to do any acting so far but wouldn't mind if given the
opportunity. Some of the roles that involve action as well as a well-defined character who has
a mind attached would interest me.”
Doreen: “Who are your idols?”
Greg: “I don't really have any idols. I've learned that elevating others to an idol status
serves no purpose for me. We're all human with human flaws and are bound to have successes and
failures just like anyone else. Idols tend to get shot down, so to speak, in the media as
as a result of the way they live, so it doesn't work for me to worship others.”
Doreen: “So who is your Favorite person in your life?”
Greg: “My mother. She has always been there for her boys through some very difficult times;
she has been the one that kept the family running and together.”
Doreen: “What a wonderful mother you have. What kind of music do you like?
Greg: “Female recording artists who have something to say. I'm not overly found of
listening to sentimental garbage. Probably my very favorite is Faith Hill, I like the way she
looks and sounds!”
Doreen: “I agree Faith Hill is awesome. So do you like to sing, dance or perform on stage?”
Greg: “NO, I do NOT sing. You would NOT want to hear me sing. I save that sort of activity for those really talented. I enjoy dancing with another person or on a stage for entertainment.”
Doreen: “Christmas is round the corner, how do you intend to spend it?”
Greg: “I will probably spend the majority of my Christmas with my family. I've always enjoyed
this particular holiday for relaxation and being with those who mean so much to me. My family comes first in my life.”
Doreen: “Do you do any charity/volunteer work?”
Greg: “I want to become involved with volunteer work but haven't had the opportunity to do
so since beginning a new business; this seems to take all my time. Volunteering and charity work
would definitely balance my life and extend my purpose to others in need.”
Doreen: “Are you single? How would you go about romancing your lady love? Describe your most
unforgettable date.”
Greg: “I just became engaged last month to a beautiful lady a few years younger than I. We
have a great deal in common and a number of the same values so I'm looking forward already to
next October when I finalize my devotion to her in marriage. "Romancing" my lady love is a daily
event not just one special event, although there are some "dates" that I readily remember. Our
favorite thing to do as a couple is to walk along the pier, look at the sun set, and silently
enjoy one another's company. This tends to bring closure to our days and focusing us on the
other person.”
Doreen: “Congratulations!!!! Would you go on bended knees when you propose or do something
attention grabbing like having a blimp carrying your proposal message to her?”
Greg: "On bended knee" without hesitation! I'm a rather big fellow and it serves a purpose
for me to be on "bended knee" so I am eye-to-eye. And I feel that this action shows just how
sincere I am about our relationship and what it means for me to be with her.”
Doreen: “You are certainly very romantic. I believe your fiancé will swoon with love and
have tears of joy when you propose. Do you like to cook? What kind of diet do you adhere to?”
Greg: “Yes, I do cook, and yes, I do have a diet that I adhere to. It would be difficult not
to watch calories and stay in good shape for photo sessions without some sort of "watching your
calories" program. I don't really diet, I just eat smart and frequently so I don't overeat, gain, and become
sluggish as a result. I enjoy cooking for others much more than just for myself and I'm told that I
do okay when I'm in the kitchen.”
Doreen: “If you weren’t engaged, would you consider being on The Bachelor and why?”
Greg: “No, I would not consider being on The Bachelor. Although the ladies do volunteer to
be a part of this group, I would find it difficult, in fact next to impossible to "romance" all
of them, to try to have any focus whatsoever, and select "the one" of my dreams in 6 weeks. I'm
not saying it wouldn't be fun, but I couldn't do this to someone else including myself.”
Doreen: “I agree it’s not fair to all since romance and marriage are such an important
aspect in a person’s life. Marriage is a commitment, as such it should never been taken lightly.
What would you want if you are given one magical wish?”
Greg: “I would want a long, healthy, happy life for myself and for my significant other. I
feel that the persons selected would have to be willing to accept and act on my wish. No wish
fulfillment comes without consequences, and to make something truly happen that will last, the
persons selected have to "buy" into it. Being healthy as well as happy is what I've always wanted
for myself and others. If I have this, everything else would seem to come only naturally
and eventually.”
Doreen: “It’s been wonderful talking to you. You are certainly romantic, sweet and thoughtful.
We at Brazen Heroine wish you and your beautiful lady love a lifetime of romance and happiness.”
