Favorite season: Fall in Ontario, Summer in British Columbia
Hannah and I are neighbors. I have always found her beautiful, sexy, personable and caring, I couldn’t resist picking
her as the Fantasy heroine for Winter 2006.
Doreen: “Where were you born?”
Hannah: “Surrey, B.C., Canada.”
Doreen: “You have two kids, a boy of 2 and a girl of 6. How do you feel about motherhood?”
Hannah: “I love my kids, I love being a mom. It’s like getting to relive my childhood all over again through
my kids’ eyes. They are so cute, innocent and curious. A mother’s job is the most rewarding but it’s also the most under
appreciated. There are so many demands from the kids, school, daily chores and basically the daily challenges of life itself,
it can sometimes get rather overwhelming, but I won’t change a thing. I like spending time with them, playing board games
and watching Spongebob Squarepants. We have lots of fun.”
Doreen: “Many parents complained about the lack of time to take care of themselves, how do
you keep up in maintaining your good health and a good body?”
Hannah: “Believe me, it’s not easy juggling so much and trying to keep fit and healthy at the same time. I lift weights
but not doing cardio because the latter increases my appetite and make me eat more. I don’t want to put on excess weight.
I do my best to follow my regiment of eating right and at regular hours every day. That way, my body won’t rebel against me.
If I stop exercising for a week, I can see the immediate effects. But thank goodness that with regular exercise, my body bounce
back very quickly. I feel fit and myself again. It’s very uplifting to lift weights and put my cares far away from my mind. Everyone
should try it.”
Doreen: “I agree with you. Many readers have complained to me about having trouble losing weight, so they try all kinds
of diet, including not eating at all. I am horrified when I see women having eating disorder. They look so skeletal and sickly.
What is your opinion about the issue?”
Hannah: “It’s never good to binge and then starve. It’s not the right way to lose weight and maintaining it. I do have my
moments of temptation where I wanted to eat lots of my favorite snack - chocolate. I allow myself to get a taste of it, by eating
just a little bit so it doesn’t mess up my system. Food should not be an obsession, neither is denying yourself the joy of eating.
It is disgusting, frustrating and sad that society and the media are so obsessed with weight. To them, being thin means being
successful and happy. That’s not true. Look at all the young celebrities. Before they were pressured to get thin, they were so
youthful, happy and healthy. After they went on extreme crash diets, they look painfully anorexic and unhealthy. Self confidence
is so important. You can be thin but inside you feel sad, miserable and lousy, that’s not the way to live.”
Doreen: “What do you like doing when you have a bit of free time to yourself?”
Hannah (laughing): “Being a single mom with two small kids, it’s hard to have any free time for myself but I try. I love
writing poems. When I’m frustrated or having a real bad day, I would pour my emotions into my writing. I feel my spirit
renewed. I am very critical. Some of the poems I had written weren’t good enough, so I got rid of them and start all over.
When my kids are running about, I can’t write in peace so I have to scribble a word here and there. When I was younger,
living with my family in B.C., I love horseback riding. I had lessons learning jumping which was one of the highlights of my
early teens. I haven’t riden for years, it’s such an expensive hobby. Given a chance, I would take it up again.”
Doreen: “What kind of food do you like?”
Hannah: “I love all types -- Greek, Thai, Mexican, Italian. Oh yes, fine food, especially dessert and mousse cake.
Of course, chocolate!!!”
Doreen: “I love chocolate too. Do you know that chocolate gives you an euphoric feeling and is an aphrodisac to be
eaten before sex? It would enhance the pleasure.”
Hannah (laughing): “Then I should eat more chocolate.”
Doreen: “What is your ideal man?”
Hannah: “Hmm...I like a man who takes charge, is powerful, confident, not afraid to stand up for himself and others.
Someone who is also sensitive and treats me well.”
Doreen: “Describe your ideal first date.”
Hannah: “I like something simple, like going out for dinner in a quiet restaurant, where we can talk and get to know each
other. I like it when the conversations flow easily. The immediate attraction is so exciting, so is the anticipation. In fact, the
attraction and thinking about the person in the most delightful way is far better than sex.”
Doreen: “Define your fashion style.”
Hannah: “I like classy, comfortable, stylish clothes. I like the way women dress back in the ’50s and the ‘60’s.
There was more glamour back then.”
Doreen: “What is your favorite TV show and movie?”
Hannah: “Law & Order: Criminal Mind. I am fascinated by the way how criminals work, it’s their psyche and the
sickness controlling them that keeps me rivetted. I love CSI too. I love Disney movies and Looney Tunes.”
Doreen: “Do you like to travel? Where would like to go for your next vacation?”
Hannah: “Yes, I do. I want to see the world and would love to visit France and Switzerland.”.
Doreen: “Last question. You’ve a great body. Would you mind posing nude for Playboy magazine?”
Hannah: “I don’t mind at all. If they want me, I would love to have the opportunity.”
Doreen: “You would make a great Playmate. Thank you and all the best to you, Hannah.”
