The first thought that came into my mind when I saw 22 year-old, brown eye, Marco D'Angelo was,
"That's a GQ model and Fantasy hunk waiting to be discovered." I didn't approach him right away, instead I asked cashier,
Tanisha, to make the introduction. She readily agreed. When Marco stood up to greet me, I had to crane my neck to look at
him.
"How tall are you?" I asked.
"Six foot six," he said with a grin. "O.K. from the look on your face, you must be wondering if I play basketball."
I laughed. "Well, do you? You look the athletic type to me."
"O.K., I get asked that question frequently. Yes, I do play basketball and yes, I enjoy all sports. I try to play as many as
I can in my spare time, especially tennis, squash, golf, football, softball, and hockey. I like to do weight training too."
"Are you a full time pharmacist or are you studying to be one?"
"Not a full fledge one yet, just working here for the summer. I'm going back to school but still deciding on what I want for
a long-term career, perhaps studying medicine. After graduation, it would be great to have my own pharmacy and settle down in
a small town, probably in the southern sunshine U.S."
"Since you mentioned about working in a small town, you're not originally from Toronto, right?"
Marco shook his head. "No, my hometown is in a small town in north-western Ontario, Thunder Bay.
I've spent the last two years living in Toronto and it's starting to grow on me."
I looked at Marco's lean muscular frame and his chiselled chin. "Being a Pharmacist is a good career move, have you
thought of modelling or acting?"
"Yes, I would like to do acting and modelling, especially pose for fitness magazines or Vanity Fair. It would be awesome
to be paid to stay fit. I'm an outgoing person so I feel strongly that the modelling and acting environment would fit me well. Besides,
I like to try new things, so I do plan on doing alot of travelling and working in different parts of the world. Most likely I would travel
to California or somewhere in Australia. It's really important to me to get as many different experiences in life as possible and travelling
is a good way to do that."
"Who is your favorite movie star and singer?"
"Robert DeNiro is my favorite actor. I like his confidence and that is very important in acting or life in general. This is the
same reason why Bono is my favorite singer."
My eyes travelled down his extremely long legs and settled on his shoes. "How big are your feet?"
"Size twelve".
"Have you read a romance novel before? If not, would you try it?"
Marco smiled. "No, I have not, but I am willing to read one."
"Do you regard yourself as a die-hard romantic?"
Marco's eyes lit up. "Definitely! I feel there's nothing better than spending intimate moments with the person I love.
Furthermore, nothing brings me more pleasure than making the person feel great."
"What type of women are you attracted to?"
"Don't get me wrong, like every other guy, I am attracted to women who are physically good looking, but once I get to
know someone, their personality have to go a lot further than their looks, but again, I am a guy. I like a woman who is physically
fit, with a beautiful smile and beautiful eyes. You can tell a person's true personality and intentions through their eyes. There is
nothing more attractive than a woman with drive, self-confidence, ambition and determination. A strong sense of humour and the
ability to have fun are important too. At the same time, I like women who have a serious side to them and able to carry intellectually
stimulating conversations. So having a brain behind the good looks is a big plus."
"What would you do when you are attracted to a particular lady? Would you go right up to her and ask for her number?"
"Oh yes, I would go right to that woman and talk to her, to see if we could get along and if she is interested in me. It's important
that she's attracted to me or else, I'll be chasing my own tail."
"Have you gone on a blind date before? If not, would you?"
"No, I've haven't but I think I would do it in a second. It seems like a good, fun and exciting way to meet different people
other than the ones I interact with on a daily basis."
"How would you make it a romantic time or night for your lady love?"
"I feel great spending quiet moments with my lady love. Therefore, a romantic evening would entail a quiet dinner and
wine at a nice, quiet, romantic restaurant. After dinner, we will take a slow moonlight stroll near the lake. We will watch the stars
and the moon reflecting off the clear water as we talk about life and our future together. Then we will end the evening walk by
pampering my love with a candlelight bath."
"That sounds so romantic," I said with a wicked smile. "Well, have you skinny-dip before?
"No. To be honest, I've never had the opportunity to do that with the right woman."
"Are you comfortable with nudity? If Vanity Fair or GQ request for you to pose nude (but not frontal nudity), would you
do it?"
"I am comfortable with nudity and would probably pose nude for GQ or Vanity Fair if they want me. I think it would be
an experience unlike any other I've had so far, because the world would get to see me naked."
"Well, all the best to you, Marco. I won't be surprised that the next time your fans see you, it would be on the cover of
Vanity Fair (in your splendid naked glory)."
