Fantasy Hunk of the Month

To kick start the new year, I’m proud to present Sylvester Ray Bowden who describes himself as “An individual with a great personality and a great sense of humor.” Sylvester is 34 years old, born on June 22nd, (a Cancer), is originally from Bay City, Texas and currently residing in Houston Texas. This Texan hunk is 5’11”1/2, 200 lbs, has melting soft brown eyes, black hair with a hint of gray in the front. He graduated from the University of Houston and works as a Director of Information Systems for a Houston hotel, a job that he has proudly held for 14 years. In his spare time, he volunteers his services for the Houston Proud, a Child Advocate and Young Professional for children.

I first met Sylvester at the Romantic Times convention in Houston in November 2000 where he competed at the Mr. Romance pageant. Both the readers and I were immediately drawn to his beautiful warm smile and his equally warm personality. I was impressed by his confidence and poise on stage and this man could dance up a storm! And talk about body hugging, the leather pants that Sylvester wore to the pageant, moulded to his skin and accentuated his sexy muscular long legs and tight buns. His winning personality and beautiful physique sent many ladies swooning and screaming with excitement. Not surprising, Sylvester won the prestigious Mr. Congeniality award at the pageant.

Sylvester’s hobbies are meeting interesting people, physical fitness, swimming, weight lifting, dancing and watching sports. His all time favorite passion is travelling to South East Asia where he enjoys the local culture and along the way, met people from around the world. His favorite city is exotic Bali in Indonesia.

For those fans of the CBS reality TV show, Big Brother, you would be pleased to know that Sylvester was one of the semi-finalists (too bad, we didn’t get to see him in the big house). His favorite actors are Samuel Jackson, Kevin Spacey, Bette Midler and Dixie Carter. And his favorite comedian is Jack Benny and favorite singer is Tina Turner.

It would be a dream come true for this hunk to have his own Internet cafe where people could hangout and chat comfortably while sipping their favorite flavored coffee and drinks.

So what is Sylvester’s advice on the secret of success? “A simple smile can be a free token to someone else’s happiness,” he said, flashing me his brightest smile.
